I was in Riverside yesterday and stopped to eat at carls Jr. and after that walked around and looked in some of the shops that was in the same strip mall. When I came back to my car it was gone. I went back inside the carls and they handed me a card for Hamilton's Towing I called them and they will not release my car without $300 cash or $345 on credit card. I couldnt of been parked there more than a couple hours and there was plenty of other parking spaces. I dont have that kind of money or a credit card. This is our only family vehicle. I dont know what to do, fees go up daily for storage charges. Any ideas? Thanks for reading:)
HI! I am astay at home dad with 3 kids [9mths,4,10] my wife works at mcdonald's corp. as a swing manager.Iwas in costruction,its a long story,I know mine is not the only 1. ANYWAY, Iworked for a small construction comp. we mainly done fondations for residential housing, so when the econamy whent down the @!%&**! , houseing const. did too, my wife & I hung on for 3 years , dureing that time we struggled bad ,and we still are , we used up all are saveings, & thats when my wife got a job at mcdonalds, she stayed at home for six years on & off before that. i would set at home months at atime, useally [fall, winter] my boss diden't beleive in unemplymet pay,so he threatened to not call us baqck to work if we tried to draw it, so my wife said enough was enough, so she got her job & we switched places. she has a high school deploma i don't she also has exsp. in management so it was easier for her to find a job than me. we still have a hard time paying bills each month but we do what ever we can to make extra money..util later
Hello. I have a question. I have a car that WONT pas smog and my lisence will be taken away soon if I don't get that fixed. I aparently need catilitic converters on my car? so it wont pass with out them for some reason. It takes 700 dls to put on and 200 to register it. I don't have that money. Is there anything I can do or anyone have been through this? Give me advise please. Thank you and God bless.

I've noticed a great many people come to aide page and do drive by postings. I'm not sure if this is the "norm" as I've not been on aide page long but I feel it's not productive, but perhaps it is out of fear or a lack of feeling comfortable.
I've seen a great many helpful posts giving great links and suggestions. There are many who genuinely want to help. However, there are a few posts that seem to be either motivated by the latest gimmick or service, or others that are very one-sided.
I think what we need to take into consideration is that everyone is different. We all come from various religious backgrounds, cultures, and so forth. We must all respect this when giving advise or suggestions.
Those asking for help, well I encourage you to come back often. Check at least once a week to see if someone has responded to your post. You may find that some wonderful resources were given, or a friendly ear was provided.
just wanted to see if anyone has any ideas of how to get a business loan to start a new business. My husband is trying to get a small business loan to start a new company but it seems like there is no one out there that does these kind of loans for people with bad credit. He has been working in the moving business off and on for 15 years and now is trying to start his own company. If any one has any ideas plz let me know.
A "company that needs a poet"? Have you tried greeting card companies? You should also think about investing in a copy of "The Writer's Market Handbook" - it lists publishers and what they are looking for in the way of submissions.
Have you considered songwriting? That is related to poetry and artists are always looking for good material.

I have been looking for a job ever since but I can't afford day care for my little boy so my classes are at night so that my 16 year old can watch the other three. It is hard doing this by my self but I know that I can do it. I nedded to do something to create a better life for me and my children so I am now attending Central Piedmont Comm. College taking Medical Office Administratoin. I don't need help with paying for school because I have a Pell grant. What I need help with is paying my bills at home, buying clothes for my children. I am not sure how this works, or really what this is. All i know is I need help. I am sitting at my computer right now falling apart. I love my son more than life itself and I work hard everyday to provide. He is seven months old, his name is quentin and he is the best baby ever, he is just a little doll. I pay over $800.00 for daycare a month, $300-400 for his needs. This is leaving me with little to live, I had to move from my apt. back in with my surrogate parents, who are growing frustrated with the situation. i want to leave, I want to pay my bills and mostly I want my son to have a stable enviroment but I cant seem to make it happen no matter what I do. Try to contact your local Habitat for Humanity programs and foundations for help in a purchase of a modest home for low income families. You must spend a good amount of time in putting in sweat equity in trade. Foundation grants are out there in the communities for helping deserving families.
Contact your Community Services for this information.

I have been trying to locate a LEGITIMATE government grant for the purchase of my home .it seems everywhere i turn i get the run around & dont really want to give up yet . my monthly payment is outrageous 750.00 per month on a 5.95 per hour job .plus all utilities . i too recieved a call about being awarded a grant that they would help deposit to my acct . instead (how they got the info ill never know ) they tried to debit my checking acct for 300.00 . that was a nightmare i didnt want . since i only bring in 570.00 per month . my husband brings in 400 per month .but point is if house were paid off our utilities would only amt to 450.00 per month that i can afford . at least then i could afford things like socks&underwear for my 3 children ages 8,5,&2. heck half the time i cant even keep milk in the house .......yes i have food stamps but only 255 per month and that has to feed 7 mouths every month . just doesnt cut it ya know? so any info is appreciated . email timidikis@hotmail.com thank you for your help .
